Sky

If ever you've read my previous posts, you'd be thinking from the title - "Oh no, not another one..." - Well, you'd be wrong. My title refers to that infamous satalite company we all know and love. or loath!

Generally speaking, I've never had a problem with Sky, or their service. But today just completely push me to the point of self detonation. One thing I cannot stand to this very day, are automated service phone systems. Sky's automation system is by far the worst, most teeth pulling, nail grinding experience that is beyond belief. Ask yourself this, if you phone a company regarding an enquiry, you'd expect to be able to ask a person, and not a machine. Now if that person is unavailable, you'd expect to get a message stating this fact. Oh no... not with Sky's system. You phone up, you specify God knows how many key options before you finally end up being told that their customer service centres are so busy, that they cannot take your call. Now this really got my goat!! I paid for the call, expecting to talk to an operator to deal with my query. They kept me on that call for over 8 minutes navigating the menu system, only then to be told that they couldn't even answer my call anyway!!!

So why the hell didn't they tell me that at the start of the call that the call centres were busy. All they could have said was, "Although our call centres are extremely busy at this time, if you wish to continue, press 1." That would have taken literally 10 seconds, and then I could have hung up!

There are probably loads of other companies that use this same tactic to make the call last as long as possible before you eventually get disconnected due to high call volume. Now clearly, this says to me that the companies reap some sort of percentage from the cost of these calls. It's a scam, it's ludicrous, and frankly down right disgusting that this is happening.

Bah!! Anyway, have a merry Christmas everybody, and a happy new year.

Time on our hands

Finally, decided to get something posted here as I've somewhat had a lack of time on my hands recently. I decided to book a week off from the 24th August as it's my mother's birthday. So planning to take a trip up to Yorkshire and basically have a ball! I'm taking my son with me as well, as he's never been to Yorkshire before.

My wife did something very nice yesterday as well, she bought a new digital camera which takes up to 3.2 mega pixel images. Sticking a 2gig SD card in there as well will certainly ensure that I have plenty of memory to take lots of fab pictures. When I return, I'll post them up on here so that people can have a good laugh about my pool table antics.. !

Anyway, cya in a week or so, and be good.

The Blues?

After working a hard week, Saturday is usually a day when I lay in bed until around 11am to recover. Waking up this morning and seeing, yet again, the sky being filled with those familiar trails, I had to see if any additional info had been posted regarding the phenomena.

Now, the problem with looking up this sort of information, is that you're very likely to come across articles that frankly, scare the pants of you. They refer to biological motives of biblical preportions, or ways to decrease population counts by introducing new strains of flu or something. Maybe so, maybe not, but I'm in no position to assume anything. I've basically tried to find articles or information that would be considered credible. I mean lets face it, who the hell wants to read bullshit by someone who claims they were abducted by little green... well... you get the picture. This article is a typical example of what I do find interesting: http://www.checktheevidence.com/Chemtrails/

I will admit, since knowing about the phenomena, the atmostphere does feel cooler, even on hot sunny days. But this could just be a subconscious decision to believe that the air is cooler than what it really is. I mean, how long does it take for a kettle to boil?

Be good everyone!

Whispers

Holy... been almost four weeks since I've posted here... but with work and such, things have slipped. Anyway, it's my better half's birthday today, and what a birthday it's going to be. I managed to purchase a good number of niceties for her, and she was jolly well pleased with smiles and such upon the opening of a couple. The rest of the birthday celebration will take place later today, but for now, she's put her head down to recoop.

My last few days of enjoyment, tend to revolve around playing HalfLife/HalfLife 2, and related games such as TFC. Recently, and much to my supprise, my son pointed me in the general direction of a HL2 MOD called 'Awakening'. Curiosity bit me, and I downloaded and installed the MOD to play. Well, may I say, it was most enjoyable. Even for a single player MOD by a third party developer, this game was extremely challenging and pleasing to the eye. It focused on the role of a military character working his way through several levels to reach a climatic resolve whereby all of the HL2 Antlions are freed on a biblical scale, resulting in, well... major consequences. Anyway, this proved to be enormous enjoyment, and I hope to see more MOD games like this from other people in the future.

Tata for now...

The Calm after the Storm

Funny thing our weather. 29th April, and here we are, freezing our arses off!. Why? Well, it has to be down to weather modification right? (Get a grip) Of course, people will always listen to the usual chit chat of the common grapevine and say.. "Oh sure, it's been a bit blowy today...", or "Gosh, it's a tad warm today..." etc etc. But ask yourself folks, do you really observe the weather?

I'll come out with it right, but I think that global warming is a bullshit story concocted to scare us into living like hermits indoors, to pay excessive taxation of fuel and road use, and to buy equipment and fridges that will garuntee to expire or fail in at least two years!

Reason for my assumption?.. and it isn't an assumption by the way, but if you look at the history of this planet, and you examine it's global tempreture over the last few thousand years, you'll find that the 'SUN' has followed in more or less, the same pattern of activity.

Listen folks, our planet isn't going through some kind of major catastrophic planetary change of biblical preportions, it's going through a natural phase of warming up by our own sun, that has happened for millions of years, and this is a fact! C'mon people, wake up... if you're planning to pay your own goverment more money because of their dodgy insights and scewy propoganda because of "Global Warming" and... "We must do something before it's too late and the world ends"... ffs... I don't think so!

Progress.. of course

I neglected to mention when I initially created my blog, but I've recently acquired new employment with a company that's very local to where I live. I began working for this company last Monday (16th April 2007). At first, I was really anxious, because I've been out of work for a while, although I've had numerous interviews and such to try and rejoin life as we know it... but it's just not happened. Anyway, during my week assessment, I've tried to culminate all of my past experience working in an industry of Database design... only to realize that things have not really changed all that much since I last took the reigns of a similiar project design.

The first thing I've noted, and pleased to comment on, is that I immediately established a good repoir with the guys that work over at my new placement... and IMO, this is a seriously beneficial prospect in any position. One of the guys, although younger than me, is keyed up on many aspects of the business, and infact, he has had alot of experience with client/customer dealings, so I'd like to think that I can grab alot of advice from him before he leaves. And yes, he's leaving the company, but for reasons of which I won't go into here. Not that this affects my view of my new job, but, business is business, and that's the way the river flows.

Culmination

It's not everyday that one takes much notice of what's going on around the planet, whether it revolves around politics, agendas, or even conspiracies. But of late, things have been going on which not many people are aware of.
My main reason for starting up this blog, was because I've become extremely concerned with the activities of our so called goverment. Now, I'm no politician, just a regular guy with enough common sense to appreciate the good things in life, and yet over the past several months, things have been far from good. I am of course, talking about these irregular and rather disturbing looking atmospheric anamolies we usually tend to ignore in our skies. I mean, lets be honest! There you are, walking across the road to the local supermarket to purchase your usual happy go life goodies, only to gaze up into the sky and see how beautiful the blue and crisp looking... wait a sec, what the hell is that? The most horrific looking streams of criss-cross gasius trails of the likes I have never seen before!
Now, to be fare, I've actually been following this phenomenon for quite some time, but usually, the material I came across was only to be found on legitimate sites based across the puddle (USA). But, last weekend literally changed my life! Sunday morning, 8th April to be precise, I woke up about 6:30am. Now I'm normally a late sleeper, but for some odd reason, I woke up rather early this day. I gets up to make my morning coffee, only to look out of the kitchen skylight at quite possibly the most amazing and yet frightening site! The sky was completely covered, from horizon to apex with these huge trails that formed a lattice of white and fluffy trails. Now, I know what a Contrail is, but these are far from being anything like a Contrail!
These so called Chemtrails are now being deployed across the Nottingham area virtually every two to three days, and they happen daily. The image above was right above my home only today after I got home from work, which was about 5:20pm. And the whole Chemtrail was there for over two hours. Infact, it took almost 3.5 hours before the complete trail had dicipated into a haizy vale.
This situation has become so alarming for me, and what makes matters worse, is that the media, both tabloid and tele, will not acknowledge or even mention anything about this phenomena. We, the society need to wake the hell up and realize that this sort of thing is going on right above our heads. You may think I'm paranoid, or over reacting, but this is just the start of my gripe with the crap that's going on in the world, and I for one will be making sure that people are made aware of it.
